Leila has joined EQT’s venture team to continue empowering entrepreneurs and maximizing their impact. Her enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and fintech led her to Stripe, where she was employee #300 at its Dublin headquarters, which at the time only counted a dozen people. At Stripe, Leila contributed to its European expansion and spearheaded the company’s entry into Italy. Now at EQT, she resumes her passion by working alongside the next wave of fintech visionaries to expand their platforms globally.
Leila is deeply passionate about economic development and has worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations across the United States, Morocco, India, Turkey, Ireland, Italy, and her home country of Madagascar, where she has acquired proficiency in six languages.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard College, majoring in Anthropology and Economics, and holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
When she's not capturing moments with her DSLR camera or practicing yoga, Leila enjoys immersing herself in historical fiction, skiing down slopes, exploring urban trails, and savoring New York City's culinary delights.
