Based in Paris, Julien brings a wealth of firsthand experience as CEO in B2B SaaS, AI and Data to the EQT Ventures team. Before moving into VC, Julien co-founded and led Julie Desk, a Natural Language Processing-based Virtual Assistant. He then managed a distressed M&A by taking over Nimley, an outbound prospecting tool, and afterwards joined Dataiku (when they were growing from 50 to 200m of ARR) to help them launch multiple new products, including their SaaS Offering.
In his role as Partner, Julien scouts out investments across the European ecosystem, helping EQT Ventures back more tech-savvy founders in the B2B space.
Outside work, you’ll find Julien spending time with his wife and two children, fixing everything from toasters to bikes to computers, writing some lines of code from time to time and tuning into his favorite films and TV shows.
